Bossier City announces a new five-year agreement with Live Oak Environmental, LLC for commercial and residential garbage pick-up and disposal services. Live Oak was one of three companies to answer the city’s request for bids and was the lowest responsive bid. The new company will provide their services for 19,221 city customers, including businesses, at a cost of approximately $4.3 million a year. The contract goes into effect January 1, 2019 with no increase in monthly service fees for residents or businesses.
