SSgt. Naomi DuBose received the Bossier City Fire Department's Appreciation Award at the February 21, 2023 City Council meeting.
The award, presented by BCFD Chief Brad Zagone, was issued in recognition of her outstanding service by quickly assessing and taking action to assist a fellow citizen in exiting from a burning vehicle back on January 13, 2022.
Because of her actions, BCFD personnel were able to respond quickly and efficiently to the motorist's aid, by extinguishing the car far without injuries.
