Chief Administrative Officer

The Mayor shall nominate for confirmation by the City Council a Chief Administrative Officer. This shall be an unclassified employee position. The Chief Administrative Officer will serve as executive and administrative assistant to the Mayor, performing such duties as assigned by the Mayor.

Amanda Nottingham currently serves as the City of Bossier City’s Chief Administrative Officer.  She was appointed to this position on September 8, 2021.  Prior to being appointed as Bossier City’s CAO, she worked as a legislative liaison for the Louisiana House of Representatives, regional director of a statewide non-profit organization, and an elementary school teacher.
